The Dharmazentrum Schaffhausen was founded in 2007. It is located in a quiet and yet central location in the old town of Schaffhausen on the 1st floor of a spacious old town house. Here we meet to meditate, study and celebrate together. Its special location between two churches invites you to go inside. The monastery and monastery garden nearby Schaffhausen’s cathedral exude tranquility and inspire walking meditation. Our center is open to all who are interested in Buddhist teachings and seek guidance and support for their spiritual development. It lives through the people who have been meditating there regularly for years and are committed to its development. We are closely connected with the other study and meditation centers of the Maitreya Mandala network in Germany and Hungary.
